Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Usage data: the tools and picks you view, your paper-trading history and results, and your subscription tier.
• Payment information: subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple's In-App Purchase / StoreKit system. EdgeBoard does not receive or store your card number or other payment credentials — Apple handles billing directly.

Why we collect it

We use this information to operate your account, show you the tools and picks board, track your paper-trading and (where applicable) real bet performance, manage your subscription tier, and provide customer support.

Storage and security

Data is stored in an access-controlled database. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard one-way hashing (bcrypt) and are never stored or transmitted in plain text. We limit internal access to data on a need-to-know basis.

Third parties

• Odds data provider (The Odds API): we pull sports odds data from this provider to power the app. No personal or account data about you is shared with this provider — the data flow is one-directional (odds in, nothing out).
• Apple In-App Purchase / StoreKit: handles subscription billing. See Apple's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Advertising and tracking

EdgeBoard does not use advertising SDKs and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Because we do not currently engage in cross-app/cross-site tracking, no App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt is shown. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and request permission as required by Apple's guidelines.

Your rights and data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — profile, saved picks, paper-trading history, and subscription record — at any time from within the app: go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is irreversible. You'll receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.
